Cannot change a user to ‘1 folder guest’ authority

The ‘1 folder guest’ privilege allows you to join only one folder (with the exception of My Folders).

Therefore, if the user in question participates in more than one folder, it is not possible to change the user to the “1 folder guest” authorization.

In addition, Stock does not allow you to check the existence of folders in which you have not participated, even if you have administrator authority.

If you receive an error message saying that you cannot change permissions because the user has joined multiple folders, even though it appears to you that the user has joined only one folder, please follow the steps below to change permissions.

<Procedure>

①Check the screen of the person who wants to change to the “1 folder guest” authorization (hereinafter referred to as Mr. A) Stock and check the folders he is participating in (all participating folders are always displayed on Mr. A’s screen).

Check the participants of the folder in which Mr. A is participating and check the users who are participating in that folder with “Member or more authority” and “Editable authority”.

③ Ask those users to remove Mr. A’s participation, so that the number of folders in which Mr A participates is reduced to one or less.

Change Mr. A to “1 folder guest” authority.
